"Advancing your Horsemanship is a continual process.  We are all students of the horse as he is the best teacher.  He will tell us where he has gaps and where we do as riders or trainers.  He will tell us his fears as well as tell us our own.  He will tell us when we are clear and when we are not.  Listen carefully, he is honest, he is the reflection of you."

Testimonials:

“Steve also has the talent to see into the mind of a person just as he does a horse. Through his instruction he is able to read the person as well as the horse. He knows how far he can push them to make them succeed above the level they are on. He has the instructional skills, personality, and knowledge to take the rider to their top level. He never shies away from the truth which keeps the rider and the horse in a successful mode at all times. He knows if the horse is ready and if the rider is ready.

“ I am in an entirely new realm thanks to this man. Through being able to put my complete trust in him, I was able to build the confidence I needed to learn how to work with my horse… It is hard for me to put into words what he means to the horses and the people around them but if there is anyone that deserves recognition for what they do, Steve Lantvit is that horseman.”

“I have both audited as well as participated in Steven's clinics. Steven is not only an accomplished horseman and trainer, but he has a way of communicating and connecting with people that makes him an outstanding instructor. He is 100% a professional, but still casual to the point that you feel very comfortable under his tutelage. Steven has helped me advance my horsemanship, has made my horse better, and I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking to expand their horsemanship horizons.”

“His knowledge of horses, horsemanship and people is evident and his desire to share that knowledge is contagious. Although the clinic was full and the demands on him were great, Steve took the time to patiently answer every question with attention to detail. Maybe the most impressive thing about Steve's teaching style was his willingness to get on my horse or any other horse in the clinic and actually demonstrate true horsemanship. Steve was always willing to stay after class and answer any questions or work through any problems we were having.”

The Best Wound Care Product - Endorsed by Steve Lantvit:

Banixx™ is the most fabulous product I've ever used in terms of wound care," says Lantvit. "Both my clients and I have been very impressed with the speed of healing it produces, its ease of use, and it's versatility." Lantvit adds that he's very old-fashioned when it comes to the products he uses and recommends to his clients. "I would never want to be associated with a product or a method I didn't truly believe in," says Lantvit. "I don't believe in gimmicks or quick-fixes. Banixx™ is a product that has both the science and the passion of its developers behind it, and I'm very proud to have the company as a sponsor."

Steve Lantvit's Feeding Program of Choice:

At our facility, we have fed "recipes" with a base feed with various amounts of many supplements to satisfy the nutritional and energy needs of our animals. As we did this we struggled to have an even temperament while attempting to maintain ideal body condition. Feeding Kent Dynasty® Secure and Sentinel™  GX (Grow & Excel Formula) has given us the correct nutritional needs, met the work load of the horses while maintaining the ideal temperament. It's meeting our needs and has taken the guess work out of our feeding program. My personal as well as clients horses have never looked and performed so well.  I am so pleased that Kent products have satisfied the nutritional needs of all the horses in the barn and its no surprise that horses returning home after training are continued on the Kent program by their owners. Thank you Kent for such superior products.

The CHA's purpose is to promote excellence in safety and education for the benefit of the entire horse industry. This is accomplished by certifying instructors, accrediting Equine Facilities and by providing support and educational resources for all equestrians across the United States and Canada. The CHA has been certifying riding instructors since 1967.
